A number of abbreviations are used in the Hattrick conferences. The meanings of those abbreviations are as follows:

• IMO - In My Opinion
• IMHO - In My Humble Opinion
• IRL - In Real Life
• LA - Language Administrator
• MOD - Moderator
• MOTS - Match of the Season
• NT - National Team
• OCD - Offensive Central Defender

• PIC - Play it Cool
