For an ordinary Hattrick team competetive matches include all league, qualification and cup matches. They do not include friendlies or even friendly cups, as their impact on a team's position relative to others is neither governed nor registered by Hattrick.
For a national team competetive matches include all World Cup qualification and World Cup main stage matches.
