General Information
Yorkshire is a region in England.
Yorkshire is the largest traditional county of England, covering some 6,000 sq. miles (15,000 km²) with a population of about five million. It is traditionally divided into West, North and East Ridings (from Old Norse þriðing, "third part", a legacy of the area's ninth century Scandinavian settlers). The City of York is not part of any riding.
Yorkshire is home to the World's oldest football club, Sheffield FC founded in 1857.
Hattrick Yorkshire
In Hattrick terms, it is the second largest region in England (after London) boasting nearly 1200 active users, and is represented in the English Premier by Meat Mane.
