History
Amateur era
During the year 2019, the manager MrChar had the idea to create his own Hattrick football team for represents the Colombia coast as a unity for the first time ever.
For that reason he went to all the 7 regions of the colombian caribbean scouting the best amateur players, without care about some age limit. Finally he got 18 players (one of them, Sebastián Socarrás, was the coach too) and with them beated other amateur teams easily. After that he will be founding a professional club.
Official foundation
Becomming his dream a reality, the visionary MrChar founded Costa Norte F.C. on February 9, 2020. The exact same day the team sign up in the Division V of the 62nd Colombian League season, buying the space in the group V.219 of the leaving club ExpresoQuerido41, know as the worst team in the country.
The decision to play as a home team in the region of Atlantico was for 2 reasons: it is the biggest coast region and MrChar's hometown.

Anthem

Like the waves before the beach,

The official composer of the Costa Norte's anthem is LittleChar, MrChar's brother. The song sounds in every home match, just before the players walking to the pitch.
It has membranophones musical instruments (like the drum, or drummers) in which there is no specific score or combination to follow.
The biggest and hardcores fans of the team, The Tsunamis, sing this anthem even when the music stops. His voices always come from the terraces behind the south goal and inspire the rest of the fans to do the same thing.
Mascot
Vallenato entertaining fans. | |
As a good Coast Team, its mascot is one of the most dangerous predators in the ocean; a white shark. His name is Vallenato, features a mix of both shark and human behaviors, and is treated by the supporters, as an equal. He was created for get the atention of young kids.
Vallenato, the most popular music category on the colombian caribbean, was chosen in a fans pool, beating other names as "#Yurda" (a caribbean expresion) and "Todo Bien" ("It's All Good").
He was incorporate with the foundation of the club and for that reason his number is the 92 (02/09); no other player of the club can ever use that jersey. Usually is friendly, no matter what the score is.
The club received a claim by a mexican team, because there mascot was very similar to Vallenato. The case never get to the court, because the claimant club enter in bankruptcy and disappeared shortly after.
Kit
Costa Norte has maintained the dark or light blue shirt for its home kit throughout the history of the club, even as amateur club. The traditional third colour is white.

La Nueva Ola Stadium
Costa Norte Sub-19 (U-19) plays as a home team at the Nueva Ola Stadium (New Wave Stadium). It have a 300-capacity and it's part of the team training facility.
Training facility
Costa Norte's headquarters and training facility is called Siete Regiones (Seven Regions) and it is located in the Atlantico's capital. The first team and the U-19 team train at the facility. There are two grass pitches, one being the youth team home stadium: La Nueva Ola.
Supporters
The club started with 100 supporters, and that's because it was a one free month subscription. The idea, and the team, doesn't have big hopes at the beggining; during the first friendly match only 207 fans go to the stadium.
MrChar was worried about that and then a big idea came to his mind. He knew that the favourite thing in the north coast is the beer, so the team offers one free to every supporter at the entrance. It was a instant hit; 3796 fans pay his ticket for the first league match just 19 days after the sad game know as "the 207 game".
This beer promotion is responsible for the creation of the "hoolingans" of the club: The Tsunamis. Fans with one big slogan: "We like beer and we like football, so here we are". They always goes to the terraces behind the south goal and never miss a match.
Between his friendly debut and the end of the first season, the club gain 599 supporters. Currently they have 699.

Manager
| http://www.subeimagenes.com/img/rcpaoloarenas-535468.png PaoloArenas, presidente y dueño. | |
