A season corresponds to a hattrick year. The oldest league, Sverige, is currently playing its 32nd season.
Program of the Season
There are 16 weeks in a season. 14 weeks for league matches, then 1 week for promotion-demotion matches and the last week is a free week, a week without a match on the weekend. In the week before the first competition match, the first cup match is held, and these cup matches continue untill one team has won the cup. In big leagues the last cup match is after the last league match.
End of the Season
At the end of the season, and the beginning of the season some yearly rituals are done:
- Teams promote or are demoted.
- Team spirit is reset.
- Supporter Mood and Sponsor Mood are also reset.
- Red and yellow cards are removed.
The league plan is

Rounds 8 through 14 = rounds 7 through 1 venues reversed.
