:::I don't really like this. Is it possible to add a different username? For example: [User:MrJunni|Electionguy], because in Belgium some people like to change username every once in a while or just for the election. I would like to keep the possibility to use a different name than the official username. But beside that, very nice templates :) [[User:ZF-Nightwish|ZF-Nightwish]] 18:54, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

I think I made good templates for elections as following:

{{vote-text World Cup XIV}}

{{table-begin}}

{{vote-header}}

{{vote|pos=1|username=(username)|votes=(number of votes)}}

{{vote|pos=2|username=(username)|votes=(number of votes)}}

...

{{vote|pos=n|username=(username)|votes=(number of votes)|declined={{check}}}}

{{table-end}}<noinclude>

[[Category: ... Elections]]

</noinclude>

where the first line is show the country elections, date and time of deadline. It is the same for every country so having 1 template is good. The name will automatically change for each page. If there is another election in the same term, we can use vote-text template with name, date, and time are arguments. The check template will have check mark for "declined". Some examples are here: Vietnamese elections for World Cup XIV and Vietnamese elections for World Cup XIII bis

No need to edit old election pages if no time but we can use for future pages. And if we want to change format for all election pages, it would be much easier than without templates. What do you think? --Mod-Geek 00:06, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Sounds like a good template, although I'd prefer naming of the variables. E.g. like {{vote|pos=1|username=username|votes=10|declined={{check}}}}. --Jhattara 07:40, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
