Who are the mods, and how can I become one?

Isn't everyone a mod by default, in that we can modify or revert articles? As to who can ban addresses or users, I don't know. Shouldn't this be in the Talk namespace? --IndianaRed 19:19, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

I don't know. How can I revert something?

1) go to history of the page you want to revert
2) click on the date of the correct version
3) click on the edit in the correct version and copy the content into your clipboard
4) click view current version
5) edit and paste the correct version

"Moderators" generally do not exist in Wiki since there is nothing to moderate (without ignoring the "free forum" nature of a wiki, that is), but Administrators do. Their job is generally to decide matters of importance (policy, naming conventions, etc) as well as give bans for repeated vandalization and take care of other maintenance (such as article deletion). On wikipedia there is a Request for Adminship program (WP:RFA), but currently, no such program exists here (and cannot without the sysop creating administrators and/or allowing for promotion to admin by those initial admins). I'm guessing the initial admins, if they ever will exist, will probably be GMs from the regular site, though I admit it doesn't seem that many GMs know wiki code (except Lau). Delete pages.

How can I nominate pages, for deletion? In nl.wikipedia.org, there is a template : {{wiu}}. Which template can I use? - Hsf-toshiba 19:16, March 23, 2006 (UTC)

• No such template or program exists currently. On the english wikipedia the equivalent is WP:AFD, but as of now nothing here exists. Without admins no deletions can occur, so the program would be fairly useless. -Catalyst 23:45:18, 2006-03-23 (UTC)
