In all competitive matches you can tell your team to play it cool. This will reduce the midfield rating during the game, meaning the team will not perform as well as usual. Directly after the match, team spirit will increase, and the team will perform better in the next match.
According to some studies made by different users, the increase in team spirit is at least 33%. Team spirit defaults to mid-composed (4.5) at the start of the season, and it increases to content (6.0) after Playing it Cool in the first competitive match.
