The Puke Green Socks Rally was started by Ardent Enthusiast as a way to provide users with a little fun. A former Hattrick user used lime green socks for his team. The lime green socks were dubbed "puke green" by Ardent because he said anytime he looked at the socks, he wanted to puke.
The PGS Rally lived on, season after season, until it disappeared this season (season 33 for the USA).
