Slashers FC

Slashers FC was the oldest clubs in the USA, until slashers owner abandoned the club in September 2004. Slashers FC was the first international team in Hattrick, starting during Season 11, just prior to the owners of Cyclones and Kansas City Wizards abandoning teams in Sweden to join the newly formed USA league. Little is known about the owner's reason behind abandoning the club, but the speculation is that the criticism he received after his second term as NT Coach contributed to his lost interest in the game . The team were three-time Major League champions and also won the US Open Cup, though this win came at the cost of their league title that year, rendering them ineligible for The Double.
