The OVl Cup (Oost-Vlaanderen Cup) is a friendly cup in Oost-Vlaanderen.

Participants

Participating teams must come from the Oost-Vlaanderen Region in Belgium to be eligible for qualification. Teams can candidate for the cup on the Oost-Vlaanderen Forum on Hattrick. The OVL cup currently has 32 teams, who play in a 5-round cup scheme. When enough teams will subscribe, the OVL-cup will start with 64 teams.

Organisation

The 11th edition is currently organised by Zionnoah. The early editions of the cup were organised by HoebekeD.

On this moment, the OVL-cup is in the preliminary fase, in which teams can subscribe themselves. A cup program will be elaborated after that.

History

The cup exists was created during Global Season 29, and is currently in its 11th Edition.

Cup Format

The first 6 seasons of the OVl cup where played ad random, but between seasons 7 and 10, the OVl Cup worked with ranking: stronger teams automatically started against weaker teams. Starting from season 11, the seeding of the teams is completely at random again.
