Marsascala Hotspurs

Marsascala is the username for one of the few teams in Hattrick hosted in the village of Marsascala, Malta, European Union (EU). Marsascala is a lovely seaside resort hosting locals and various guests. The team, Marsascala Hotspurs, is in its second season of competition after joining Hattrick at the dawn of 2006.

The club is currently active in Division 4 series 35 and is challenging to be promoted to the third division.

History

Formerly the club was known as Nyuppi. The team was always active in series 35 and normally held the 5th place. Marsascala took over the team in earli January 2006 and renamed it Marsascala Hotspurs. In its first season it managed to keep a joint 4th place with SAID FC.

In its second season the team currently stands in first place.

Players

The team boosts circa 25 talented international players. The top scorer is Sergio Garay whilst the most voted player is Ruben Gimenez.
