Atlantic Vikings was founded 11 November 2003 by manager CHF-Jogvan. Originally the club was named Jogvansa Ítróttarfelag, but only one season later the name was changed to Atlantic Vikings. The Vikings play in 1. Deild in Faroe Islands.
