Felipelamas was a manager of Chilean club Sion. As a manager he achieved four League Championships (seasons 11-14) and three Cup Championships (seasons 11, 12, and 14) winning the Double three times in the process. He also managed the Chilean national team for a short time after they failed to qualify for the World Cup V.

He is known as "El Innombrable" for the Chilean community
