Season 85 was the fourth season of Nashville FC under manager dalepopp. Nashville competed in VI.18 for the second consecutive season and won the series championship with 11 wins, one draw and two losses. The club scored 57 goals while conceding 22 and finished with 34 points, two points ahead of second-place Shadow Hounds.

Nashville also competed in three cup competitions during the season. The club was eliminated in Round 1 of the US Open Cup, Round 1 of the Voyager Cup and Round 1 of the USA Consolation Cup.

Season summary

Nashville FC opened the league season with consecutive losses, falling 5–1 at home to R & C before suffering a 4–0 defeat at Burcad. The club recovered with consecutive victories over Gillis FC and Harrisburg FC, followed by a 2–2 draw at Hugh Town.

Beginning with a 6–0 home victory over Houston of John in Week 6, Nashville won each of its final nine league matches. The run included a 7–2 victory over Hourmen, a 6–0 win against Harrisburg FC and four consecutive clean sheets to close the season. Nashville finished the campaign with an 8–0 away victory over R & C, the club's largest win of the season.

Nashville completed the regular season with an 11–1–2 record, scoring 57 goals and conceding 22 for a goal difference of +35. The club's 34 points secured first place in VI.18, two points ahead of Shadow Hounds.

Phil Roof and Larry Shows shared the regular-season scoring lead with 10 goals each. Yaakov Morrison scored seven, while Akeem Ryba and Eric Franklin each scored six. Chaz Castillo became Nashville's primary goalkeeper from Week 4 onward and recorded six league clean sheets.

Nashville's cup campaign began with a 7–1 home loss to Roid Addicts in Round 1 of the US Open Cup. The club then entered the Voyager Cup and lost 7–1 at The Gavels. Nashville's final cup appearance came in the USA Consolation Cup, where a 2–1 loss at AC Patrick FC ended its competitive cup schedule.
