Arabian Peninsular Cup I

Draw

The draw depends on the ranking points of the teams in the season where the teams played the World Cup Qualification (i.e. first season after election). The teams will be put into 4 pots where the host and the cup holder are going to be in Pot 1, and if the cup holder was the host, then the highest rank team (or the second highest rank team if it was the host) will be put into Pot 1. After that, according to the ranking points, all the teams will be put in Pot 2, Pot 3, and Pot 4 respectively.

From Pot A, the host will play in Group A, and the second team from Pot A will go to Group B. As for Pot 2, Pot 3, and Pot 4, a draw will take place to see which one from each pot will go to Group A and B. Teams from the same pot cannot play against each other in the group stage.
