There have been more factors considered as well. For instance, we'd somewhat rather encourage AOW than AIM because AIM tend to go along with a midfield with wingers playing towards middle, which we think have been used slightly too frqquently (compared to IRL and compared to how we get a broader variation of tactics). AOW on the other hand encourages the use of offensive/normal wingers wich is on the "wanted" list. Differently put, the AOW being slightly (very slightly) more effective in doing its thing than AIM is part of the "lessen the playmaking dominance" package. Not much, but then, the difference you mention between AIM and AOW isn't that much either. |

In a thread before these tactics came out (I think) he mentioned that the chance of an attack coming on the left right or centre was roughly equal.
I have never said that. |

Does Pression (or Pressure) works only when appears that "opportunities are destroyed" or does this tactic have some effect beside of it, I mean, this tactic has the effect of "reducing the quality of an attack" or raising something else or something else besides destroying the opportunity? Pressing only affects (removes) the total number of potential chances in the game. |

I'm pointing at two tactical options: Play Creatively and Pressing. Does the match engine provide the special events, in the first case, and the lost chances, in the second case, evenly? Or does the one who uses this kind of tactics has more special event chances and the one who uses pressing is more likely to lose fewer chances than his opponent? (considering two identical teams) It doesn't matter who chooses to play these tactical options, chances are spread evenly anyway. When you play creatively, you got the same chance as your opponent to get a SE (so you better have good SE players) and when you play pressing you risk to lose just as many chances as your opponent. |
