LCD vs Dinamo Tulcea was a league match played on 12 September 2015 at Umilinta Arena in Bucureşti.
Match report
Dark skies made the crowd of 20342 at Umilinta Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Claus Dieter Abraham was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Xavier Angel Sánchez and Raoul Wörrle.
Lineups
LCD started off with a 4-5-0 lineup. The following players took the field: Nuţu - Motlík, Zaliani, Fotsis, Cordeiro - Peli, Schmidkunz, Kusior, Rama, Sandolache -.
Dinamo tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Paskum - Tudurean, Ilina, Bercea - Roiatti, Stummo, Lukas, Zlătariu, Trautmannsberger - Dănilă, Bonomo.
First half
23 minutes into the game, LCD seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. With 25 minutes played Gerardo Zaliani almost gave the home side the lead with a clever free kick, but the visitors' Barna Paskum was onto it, grabbing the would-be breakthrough ball. 28 minutes into the game, Spartaco Bonomo had to leave the field due to a knee injury. In came Vlad-Andrei Topârceanu. LCD created a good opportunity to score 41 minutes into the game when Maciej Kusior's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, but the visitors' defenders eventually won out. Cornel-Nicolae Zlătariu behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 44 minutes as he gave the ball away to Rudolph Schmidkunz. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Lewis Skolnick, in his Tri-Lamb sweater, grabbed the microphone away from the LCD coach in order to tell him that his team had 71 percent possession this half. Nerds.
Second half
The LCD coach might have gone through a whole marker putting the playbook up on the board, but it seemed to have worked, with the team regaining a solid organization for the second half. After 60 minutes, Dinamo's Peter Lukas fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. He's a real fighter! Oh dear - the keeper's made a mess of that one. The crowd was very disappointed after he let Vlad-Andrei Topârceanu get the go-ahead goal with a speculative shot from the right after 70 minutes. 0 - 1. When Rudolph Schmidkunz was badly injured by a couple of rough challenges after 72 minutes, LCD fans were unhappy to discover that it was not possible to make a substitution. With 74 minutes gone, Ion-Aurel Bercea suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counter-attack by Dinamo caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. 76 minutes into the game, LCD had difficulty finding their positions and their organization dropped to weak. LCD were doing a good job holding on to the ball, with 65 percent of possession.
LCD's top performer was clearly Josuel Cordeiro. Dan Nuţu turned in a dismal performance, however. Ciprian Tudurean performed admirably for Dinamo. Finn Trautmannsberger on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 1.
