Cebu United Football Club, also known as Cebu United F.C. and Golden Sergies, is a Philippine professional football club, based in Cebu City, Cebu, that plays in the Second Division, series 2 of the Philippine football pyramid. The club was formed in Cebu City in 2003 as Rayo Laguna, and played their first competitive match as Golden Maroons FC in December of 2009, when they played their first PFF league match against Giesler in Season 26. Since playing their first competitive match, more than a hundred players have made an appearance for the club, including cup and friendly matches.

United's record appearance-maker is Wilberto Jalandoni, who has made 145 appearances for the club since his debut in 2009. Two other players have reached a century of appearances for the club, Eustacio Francisco and Rommel Recto, with 137 and 130 appearances respectively. The club's record goalscorer is Wilberto Jalandoni, who has already scored 74 goals to his name (and still counting, followed by Rommel Recto, with 67 goals.

The first transfer for which Cebu United (then CNU Golden Maroons) had to pay a fee was the transfer of Romanian national Costica Neaga from FINANS2005. Cebu United paid FINANS2005 a fee of P40000 for Neaga. The club's first P1M transfer came in Season 26, Week 15, when they signed Alois Darabos from Bayern Premium.
Highest transfer fees received
Alois Darabos was sold to Las Camelias FC for a then club record of P102 million in Season 30, Week 2. The club's record sale came in Season 30, Week 8, when they sold Mieczysław Sitek to Pichicuas for P111.48 million.
