Olympic Park United was founded as 'Independent Gate United'during season 22(34 in the world). They used to play at IV.6 in Hanguk when they were founded. Independent Gate is a Big gate which is Korean heritage located at Seoul.

2. Rename

When they were promoted III.7 after season 24, they renamed to Olympic Park United.

Olympic Park is the park which 1988 Seoul Olympic Games take place in.

Moreover, there is an ancient fortress built by ancient Koreans.
