Palestine Sporting Club (Arabe: نادي فلسطين الرياضي, literalmente Club Deportivo Palestino) was a Palestinian club that plays in the local Hattrick league of Palestine.
The club was founded by Palestinian nationalists and Orthodox Palestinian Christians living in the State of Palestine. The club was originally intended to be created as a separate club, but it was ultimately decided to create a national club with deep Christian-Palestinian roots, seeking a deep connection with that community in Hattrick.
The team plays at Falasteen Arena, located in the city of Ramallah.
History
The club was founded in late April thanks to a conglomerate subsidized by Arab Orthodox Christians living in Bethlehem, with a visit from Greek executives living in Chile and support from other Arabs from other towns near the city. Initially, the club was going to be called Hamas Sporting Club in recognition of the group seeking Palestinian national vindication, but after the club was recognized as a terrorist group in the countries that supported the club's creation, it was immediately decided to change to Palestine Sporting Club, or Club Deportivo Palestino, with the clear objective of becoming a national and regional leader in the Palestinian state.
With the signed minutes and the first board comprised of Palestinian Christians, the club immediately established a regional identity supported by the community. It could only have players of Arab origin and Israelis of Arab descent, an identity applauded by the club's budding fans, who supported the initiative.
The first match of the club was against The Lions of Zion in the Palestine Cup, being defeated 5-0
In the season 47, the club finished second with only 2 losses after the champions Shabab Nocerina with Mansoor Malik Karam scoring 18 goals
Dissolution
Despite the first team's strong performance and solid performance on the field, the team had strong administrative differences with the federation itself and its management. This led to the president losing the support of the owners, and they were forced to withdrew due to "irreconcilable ethical convictions" with the Palestinian Football Federation.
To continue pursuing the ideals of creating an Arab club, the owners decided to form another club, relocating to Sana'a, founding Al-Ahli FC. in Yemen

Philosophy and Identity
The club calls its historical tradition of playing almost exclusively with players born or trained in the historical territory of Arabic World its "sporting philosophy."
Our sporting philosophy is governed by the principle that players who have come from our own youth academy and those trained in clubs in the Arabic World, which includes the following countries: Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Morrocco, Argelia, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Somalia, Comoros, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordania, Irak, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Djibouti, as well as, of course, players who were born in any of them, can play in our ranks
The club was born with the strong idea of creating a club with a strong Arab identity to represent the philosophy, culture, and beliefs of the Arab world in the face of current adversity and to champion the Palestinian cause internationally. This is what the club's board of directors, the founding president, and the Christian subsidiaries in South America who support the project have envisioned. The club's policy is to hire only players from the Middle East and build a competitive roster along those lines. Therefore, it has a strict restriction on hiring European, American, or African players, only players from the Arab world.
This also applies to the hiring of players from Israel, unless they have Arab roots or Arab descent, which is the only exception for their hiring and incorporation into the club.
Also, as a club founded by Palestinian Christians and Greek Orthodox Christians in Palestine, it has deep ties with the Orthodox world, thanks to the support of BezantCo, one of its subsidiaries and sponsors of the club's creation.
Youth Team
The club has a youth academy located in Bentlehem, called Hamas Training Centre, a controversial name born from being the original name of the club, which was later changed to avoid conflicts with the Israeli community in Hattrick.
The Palestine youth club is focused on developing young players from across the country, focusing its efforts in Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jericho. So far, it has provided many players and nurtured the first team in the development of the team at the national and regional levels. The recruitment area for young footballers expands throughout the country through a wide network of scouts working for PSC. The club's technical secretariat also attends numerous important international tournaments each year to scout and monitor the best prospects in the country.
In addition, with the collaboration of other sister clubs such as FC Bizancio, it has managed to perfect its recruitment and training of players.
