Radiantics FC is a team situated in Greater Manchester, England.

The team has existed under its current ownership since 7th October 2006 (11 seasons). The club was orignally formed on 10th November 2005.

The team is currently managed by Jaanboy and is playing in VI.815.

History

The Beginnings

The first few seasons since the club's formation was a difficult period. The club was initially formed on 10th November 2005, but went 3 seasons before finding its first manager, sufcjiggs. However, the board's hope that this would bring stability and success to the club was short lived as the manager only lasted 7 weeks at the helm.

Following this, the board appointed current manager Jaanboy during week 8 of season 30 with the view of creating long-term success for the club. The new manager was however unable to save the club from relegation, which was ultimately demoted to VII.149.

However, this would not be the last VI saw of the club.

Stabilisation

Following this relegation the club managed to return to VI twice, however both times the team was not yet strong enough and was sent back to VII. It was however 3rd time lucky for the club as they promoted to VI.815 and managed a very creditable 3rd place.

This is where the club has remained for the past 4 seasons, becoming stronger each year. Last season the club achieved its highest finish to date of 2nd.

Club Favourites

Blair Davis

Blair Davis was one of the original players of the team that was inherited in season 30 and played as a forward. He is regarded as a club favourite by many due to his consistently outstanding goal-scoring record over numerous seasons. In total, Davis scored over 60 goals for the club in 6 seasons. It is likely he scored many more, but these were lost due to poor record keeping.

In season 37, Davis decided to retire from the game (despite many attempts to get him to re-consider) after a very successful career. He said that he believed the club was now getting stronger and he was unable to keep up with the pace. He said that by leaving, he would also be giving younger players a chance to establish themselves in the first team.

Jamal Zuhri

Zuhri has become an instant hit with the fans since joining the club 3 seasons ago. He arrived an an ambitious 17 year-old who wanted to develop his abilities as a forward - and how he hasn't disappointed! He has already ammassed over 50 goals for the club, including 7 hattricks, which has led to him claiming the club's top scorer award in every season. He was also crowned top scorer in the league for the first time last season, with an incredible 25 goals.

Jonathan Martin

Martin is another player who was part of the squad from the takeover. Currently 31 years of age, the winger is still going strong for the club. The main reason for Martin's long stay at the club was due to his quick progression. While many players stagnated, Martin drastically improved along with former teammate Jorn Wilnis, and therefore was able to retain his place in the side.

Over the course of his career, Martin has notched a total 49 goals to date, including 3 hattricks.
