It is the host of the Transnistria National Football Team. Lies in the bank of the River Dniester, just meters with the border of Moldova. The stadium has a capacity of 34.930, the stadium was costly thanks to help of Paschenko bussiness and Transnistrian government.

The stadium was opened in February in the match against Racing Retalteco in a friendly who FC Tiraspol loses 4-0.

The construction of the stadium became necessary because the HFA and the European association threatened not to allow more European and international matches in Transnistria if the country did not provide a modern venue in accordance with international standards. Stadionul Pridnestroviene consists of four stands: North, East, South and West.
