As far as I know, corners are presumed to be "normal" SEs. --Mr Wednesday 19:05, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Yes, they are to my knowledge. What do you think that should be changed? --Oligarf 09:26, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Well, that was directed toward the "it's not known how they are originated" bit; I wasn't really sure how best to handle it, or I would have made an edit myself. --Mr Wednesday 19:39, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Ok, well that sounds reasonable. But with other SEs we 'know' at least something about their origin (sufficient winger, scoring, that kind). I don't know how Corners get triggered and if you could increase the chance having one. --Oligarf 08:28, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

In my conception of normal SEs, first HT figures out whether to award one, then it evaluates the chance of scoring. I figure this for all types of SEs, even the ones that are specialty-related or skill-related. So along those lines, I wouldn't think there would be any way to increase the number of corners you get awarded, only to increase the chances of scoring on them. --Mr Wednesday 19:28, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

We do see a tendency that teams with more Quick players (on the pitch of course) get more Quick SEs during a match. That could be because of what you say that such a team has a higher chance of scoring on such an event. Though it could also be the case that every Quick player has it's individual chance to trigger such an event. I agree with you that your conception is evenly plausible as is mine. Troubling to me is that I can't figure out a way to find the 'truth'. --Oligarf 10:40, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
