Well, after a little bit of googling, here's what I came up with. Not sure if it is correct though, but it seems like it would fit.

The skull thing is myth. There is some old Swedish word for cow horn that resembles word skål which is the right word for cheers btw. Cheers in Swedish and in Danish
Skøl means "Cheers" if I remember the Danisch party's.. :-) Mavuba 16:29, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
