Template talk:Non-English

From Hattrick

Apply this template to pages that are written in a language other than english. Simply type this into the first line of the article:

xxx equals the language's name.

Would it be possible to add something like e.g. {{Non-English|italian}} to sort the articles by language it is written in, if known? I think that would help in getting people to translate pages if you easily could see what original language they have. --EchoMan 14:37, February 24, 2009 (UTC)

I agree, that is a very good idea. We could also use our little newsflash on the first page to flash some articles that could be worth a translation. Some others need deletion though, I guess (because they will never be translated or since they're not worth the try, but mostly because they're spam sometimes, I remember I saw one in German recently, but I just forgot about it...).--Mod-Karlthegreat 14:39, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Valid points, though it is still hard to see what is spam if you don't know the language. :) --EchoMan 14:46, February 24, 2009 (UTC)
I just remembered we can only sort by the first letter, we'll have to live with that... --Mod-Karlthegreat 14:59, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
It should be possible for Tjecken or someone to script something that will fix it, e.g. wiki documentation on [1] and [2] --EchoMan 15:12, February 24, 2009 (UTC)
The wave is through, you can stop hiding now :D --Mod-Karlthegreat 15:41, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Lol! Good job though. :) --EchoMan 15:42, February 24, 2009 (UTC)
