This season the HFA is launching a new process to select which country will have the honour of hosting the next U20 World Cup!

Communities from around the globe get to work together and make a bid for their country. These bids need to be made as a website (a blog will do as well) explaining why YOUR country should be the next host of the U20 HT WC and what would make your event more interesting and engaging for the worldwide Hattrick community. The more involved your community is the better! Perhaps an HP article? An official logo? Mascots? Signs? Be creative! Show us what you can do!

Who?

We are accepting one candidacy per country. In order to insure that only one candidacy is entered, it will need to be announced on your local forum. Keep in mind that if your country has hosted the WC in the past, it might be held against your candidacy, the more recent hosts getting the bigger handicap.

When?

The process will be open from June 11th to the end of the day on August 1st

How?

The official contact person for the bid is to send : - a link to your website, - a short introduction to be posted with it - a link to the official thread in your country stating that this is indeed the official bid

via the contact form to the NTAs with the subject XV U20 World Cup Bid (Make sure you get a confirmation message back). All bids will then be posted on a Sticky thread on all 4 Globals, for the whole world to see. Please keep in mind that these will be seen globally, so English needs to, at least, be one of the languages it’s written in.

Criteria :

-Originality and creativity -Quality of work -Involvement of the community (threads on national forum, interests drummed up) Bonus : Prospect of new users and media attention.

Should we get a great number of bids, we will make a preselection cutting it down to 8 Finalists.

Jury : 5 votes HT-Johan, HT-Anne, One vote to the community via a survey (you will not be able to vote for your own country) , One vote to NTAs and One vote to the NT and U20 coaches.
