Aquired by Don "HoosierDaddy" Murphy on 2007 02 24. Murphy originally named the team "Boiler Makers" as a tribute to his brief enrollment at Purdue University, know as the Boilermakers, in the early 80's.  Purdue is a technical/engineering university in Lafayette, Indiana. The team name was changed to "Hoosier Hooligans" 2007 03 17. Wikipedia has more information about the various meanings of the work Hoosier (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoosier).
