A season corresponds to a hattrick year. The oldest league, Sverige, is currently [nov2005] in it's 27th season.
Program of the Season
There are 16 weeks in a season. 14 weeks for league matches, then 1 week for promotion-demotion matches and the last week is a free week, a week without a match in the weekend. In the week before the first competition match, the first cup match is held, and these cup matches continue untill some team has won the cup. In big leagues the last cup match is after the last competition match.
End of the Season
At the end of the season, and the beginning of the season some yearly rituals are done:
- Teams promote or are demoted.
- Team spirit will reset.
- players get a year older.
- Supporter Mood and Sponsor Mood are also reset.
