Sir_Schluurggi is Swiss manager of hattrick club FC Rünenberg founded on September 02, 2009. It was in May 2009 when the first team in our region (Basel) became champion of Switzerland, and this was reason enough for the webmaster of FC Basel 1893 to publish an interview with mr_oli, the manager of FC Wiehlmys (who became the first and only Swiss winner of Hattrick Masters later), on the club’s website. Sir Schluurggi read this post and thought about joining hattrick with his own team, but for some reason he didn’t started the adventure then.
his first team
On September 2nd of the same year, then time was right to get it started and Sir Schluurggi signed in and asked for his first team FC Rünenberg to be founded. Only two days later the team came to live and Sir Schluurggi took the rains. The team started in the lowest division of Switzerland - it was the ninth - back then. Today he’s still running his first team which actually is competing in the fifth division and since November 14th, 2014 he’s also responsible for the small Clan Phoenix in Scotland.
in real life
In real life Sir Schluurggi is married and father of a son. He is working as a product manager in a small factory not far from Rünenberg where he is living. He has two main hobbies a long side spending time with his family; Fasnacht, the Swiss carnival and horseback riding. The third hobby which has to be mentioned here is to follow FC Basel 1893 at St.Jakobspark whenever it’s possible.
