Summary

CVP in Season 9

CVP stands for Culemborgse Voetbal Ploeg and is a Dutch team from Arnhem. It was founded halfway through February 2002 in the Netherlands by manager Broodrooster82 who later changed his name to Casartelli.

After playing in the IV.12 back in 2002 for two seasons, they promoted to III.13. They became III.13 champions in their debut season and promoted to II.3. After 7 seasons at the II.3 they relegated back to III.1

After the relegation, the team rebought former youth player and U-20 star Kornel ten Berge and was banned for Hattrick due to paying too much for him.

After the ban, CVP disappeared for five years.

CVP made a comeback in october 2012 and is since than named "CVP '02". Even though they moved to the city of Arnhem, the name remained unchanged. They did move from the Utrecht region to Gelderland. CVP '02 started in the Dutch VIII series. They won several titles and had a 40+ unbeaten streak in VI level league games.

They completed 25 seasons in total and ended 17 times in the top three of their league.
