The Hattrick Telegram Community Tournament is an International Tournament originating from the largest hattrick-related telegram community in the world, probably. The tournament is currently in its 1st edition as of June 20th, 2020. It is internationally known as the toughest, most physical tournament of its kind, and injuries shall be expected. The first season, before the first match even took place, was marred by an advertising mishap, as Russian airline company Rossiya accidentally wrote the word "Sh**" seven times in their ad appearing on the side of the field. After this the tournament has moved on successfully, only accepting local advertisers.

Points System

Teams will be awarded points for their participation in editions of the HTCT. Every 5 seasons, The Jacinda Ardern Perfect Human Being Award will be given to the team that has the highest total in such a period. The points system is as follows:

• A first place finish will count for 16 or 8 points, depending on the league
• A second place finish 15/7
• A third place finish 14/6
• and so on...

Relegation to the league below is -5 points, while promotion is +5, as well as 5 points for a top tier victory.

The Silvio Berlusconi Big Stick Award

This award goes to the single player who accumulated the most cards and/or expulsions.

Red cards being worth 3 points, and Yellow cards being worth 1. There is also a 1 point bonus for scoring in the same match that you received a card, as well as 3 points awarded for instigating an injury.

The Boris Johnson Achievement Award

This award is given after each tournament to the oldest player to have scored a goal (and to have lived afterwards to tell about it).

• Note: A player must be at least 25 years of age at tournament's end to qualify.
