Borovichi was founded Juni 26th, 2007 as a successor of -Russian bears-. The club started in the lowest divison (VI.134) in Season 20. Soon it won the title of the VI.134 and promoted to the V division. But Season 21 was disastrous and the team returned to the VI division.
First coach was Evgeny Nenilin, but September 28th, 2007 he was changed to Swiss Fabian Thurre.
