Club awards are presented to the club's top performers in each season. Top goalscorer get a Golden Shoe, while the best goalkeeper with the most clean sheets a Golden Glove. The best player with the most man of the match award get an AvasPress Player of the Year Award. Only competitive match performances count to the above three awards. There is not any tie-breaker criteria, if two players finish with equal numbers, both of them will be awarded.

The club also honours top home grown players based on supporters' voting. Highlander Award is awarded to the best player and Rising Star Award is presented to the best player under the age of 20. The only criteria for nomination: the player have to be promoted from AFC Avas Academy.

Notable winners or seasons

  • Many players won two different awards in one season, but only one player won three different awards in a season. In the 4th season of AFC Avas (global season 20) Robert Grecu, who was 20 years old that time, won the Golden Glove, the Highlander Award and the Rising Star Award.
  • A 17-year-old senior player who was promoted from the Academy of AFC Avas, could win a maximum of four Rising Star Awards in his career. Until now, nobody have achieved that, and there are only five players with three Rising Star Award: Patrik Szekfű, József Sebők, István Tamási and János Gergely.
  • With supporter voted awards only five players could win the double in a single season: Imre Dunai, László Lipták, Robert Grecu, József Sebők and Emil Grofcsik. Grofcsik achieved that two times in a row.
  • Rising Star Award was not presented in three seasons because there was not any home grown players under the age of 20 at the club that time.
  • Golden Shoe winners are mainly forwards, but there are some player who could win from another playing position. Andrey Mazalevskiy was a defender, Péter Gerzson, Dario Omrčen, Rešad Perez and Ludvík Zelený were a midfielder/defender, Soma Kérchy, François Desdemains-Hugon, René Frömberg, Ahmed Danielsen and Benjamin Thoma were all midfielders. Perez, Danielsen, Thoma and Mazalevskiy were set-pieces takers at the club. Thoma and Mazalevskiy amazingly won two Golden Shoes.
  • Golden Glove winners are mainly goalkeepers. There is only one exception: Baktybek Datka Uulu, who were a defender and won two AvasPress Player of the Year Award in that position, but when he was getting older he decided to stand between the posts in friendlies or easier cup matches.
