Pest Control is a hattrick club founded on January 6th, 2020 by FaBReLLa. The headquarter is located in Cormano, Lombardia, Italia. Future stars are coming from the youth team, Young Boys Brella.

FaBReLLa is the former manager of another hattrick club, Magiuster United, a team that has been active from 2005 to 2016.

The team name is a clear homage to Banksy and street art. In fact, Pest Control is the company that oversees the rights of the street artist, as well as Dismaland, the stadium, is the name of one of his most bizarre projects, a decaying and ruined amusement park. Offlaga Disco Park, instead (the former arena of the KiLLeR PLaSTiC F.C./Magiuster United), is the ground where youth team plays home games, in order to give continuity to the manager story and pay homage to his previous experience on Hattrick.

History

The origins

After a long period far from the scenes, FaBReLLa decided to come back in Hattrick in the beginning of 2020, while on vacation with his family. He was prompted to the comeback after an evening spent drinking beers with friends in a Milan pub, recalling the old glorious days of KiLLeR PLaSTiC F.C. The group of that unforgettable evening was composed as follows: Mauro (former manager of Atletico Zanzare), Salvatore (former manager of F.C. Emmarisa 11), Marco (former manager of STELLA VILLASANTESE), Emiliano (former manager of C.S. Bellas) and his brother Alessandro (former manager of U.S. Bettolino). Some of them came back to Hattrick in that period, and a few other came back even before (Alberto, manager of Onopko's boys, and Jacopo, manager of Kununurra from Oceania). Finally, he involved a few others friend in that comeback clash, that's to say Daniele (Daneister) and Simone (Bellavista Wanderers from Chile).

Foundation and new beginning

So, a few days after that evening, he collected the legacy of an abandoned team, Aradeo, that was playing in VIII.1681. The season was drawing to the end, and the final placement was 2nd. The team lost the playoff game, but was promoted due to a bonus promotion. So, after less than a month since his comeback, he was already in VII division.

The following season was very hard. The team was not ready for the 7th division, and ended the season at 6th place. The playoff match was a success, though, and he gained to chance for another season in VII. The focus of the training was in Defence, one of the training never choosen from the manager in his previous Hattrick life.

Turning point

He moved than to the group #517 of VII division, to be able to play with his friends Aubergine (Aubergine United) and Alex-FHBB (RomaCapitale). The team ended 3rd, with a chance to go up to 6th division, but lost the playoff match. On season 76, playing again in VII.517, the final position was 5th, while Aubergine United went up to 6th division (2nd place) and RomaCapitale was 3rd. During that period, the manager, irritated by the crazy prices of the market, came up with the idea of developing an homegrown team, with players from the youth team, and thus embraces to ideal of cycle training.

For season 77, he moved to VII.69, in order to play with his friend Guybrush_Treepwood (manager of Ruspolandia f.c.). The 3rd final place admitted Pest Control to the playoff match, lost again. The following season ended 4th, senza infamia e senza lode.

In the following season he was reached in VII.69 by his friend jack_burton-FHBB, manager of Casal Bernocchi (who also draw the wonderful crest of Pest Control). The team played an amazing season, but due to a start centered on the cup, and some undeserved defeats (both matches against Casal Bernocchi, the home one and the away one , and the last match versus Proale United ) condemn them to a poor 4th place.

Crest

The official crest of Pest Control is a grinning mouse holding the team name with one hand, while playing with a heart-shaped yoyo with the other. This amazing logo was designed by jack_burton-FHBB, one of the best HT friends of FaBReLLa, manager of Casal Bernocchi (who also played in the same league of Pest Control in season 79). The yoyo recalls the team's HGT vocation, while the mouse connects directly to the very first logo of the team, a Banksy stencil that portrays a mouse while cleaning the house (also direct reference to the team name).

Colours

The colours originally choosen from the manager were red and green (the italian flag's colours), in reference to the HGT philosophy, but with the upgrade to the new logo, they became red and gold (or, better, a kind of cross between yellow and an acid green).

Stadiums

Main arena

The home games of Pest Control are played at Dismaland, located in the hamlet of Brusuglio, a stone's throw from the Manzoni villa. Currently, the official capacity is 80,000 seats.

The first renovation and expansion of the stadium took place from 17th to 24th July, 2020. These works involved the restyling of the seats, a new wider access area, and the renewal of the lighting system, in addition to the new capacity of 20,000 seats.

On November 26th, 2020, president FaBReLLa authorized new modernization works for the stadium. First step: expansion of the arena's capacity by 8,000 units, from 20,000 to 28,000, in order to accommodate even more spectators. Second step: improvement of the VIP lounge and creation of new underground car parks.

On April 8th, 2021, a new session of works in Dismaland ended. This time, a ground heating system was installed, to avoid winter frosts, and the entire electrical system was completely redone. The capacity had been increased again, from 28,000 to 36,000 seats.

One more tranche of works took place between 24th and 30th July, 2021. It was the opportunity to bring the capacity to 42,000 seats and to install a new futuristic roofing of the entire stadium, as well as than to redo the external facades and create new access ramps.

The last modernization work so far is the one that was completend on 27th January, 2022. The capacity was brought to 50,000 seats, a new ring was added to the structure, as well as was installed new LED electronic signage and external panels replaced.

Due to the incredible amount of new fans in season 82, the property had to think to add some seats on September, 2022. Brand new Dismaland was unveiled in the first days of October, after capacity was expanded to 56,000 seats.

The removal of the athletics track allows, between February and March 2023, to bring the capacity to 68,000 seats.

Training center

Pest Control trains at the facility called Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, an old stadium in Cormano, converted into a multipurpose sports center. It is in fact equipped with an 11-a-side football field (with an athletics track and 1,200-seat grandstand), a 7-a-side football field, two indoor facilities for 5-a-side football and a bar.

Youth club arena

Offlaga Disco Park is the Young Boys Brella's home. It's the former stadium of Magiuster United, and is located in the south-east area of Milan, where FaBReLLa used to live from 2007 until 2009. This arena can host up to 600 spectators.

Supporters & rivalries

Pest Control's supporters are divided in two main fan club: GNùBBì³ FHBB and Shallontre.

The first were born immediately after the founding of the club, and represent the most active and colorful fringe of the red-white-gold fans. A large part of the group is made up of old and historical KiLLeR PLaSTiC fans, who have always followed and supported the manager even in the years away from the Hattrick scene. The Shallontre, on the other hand, represent organized female cheering, and are characterized by pink scarves and always chewing gum during matches. They also take care of making banners and choreographies.

Both fan clubs, during home games, occupy the south curve, renamed "the Bristol". Currently there are 2.114 members.

Youth section

The youth team has strategic relevance for Pest Control, due to the manager's choice not to draw on the transfermarket for new grafts. This prompted, from the beginning, to invest heavily in the club's youth sector, to identify the best youngsters around Italy and bring them to the youth squad, to make them grow and debut in the first team. The staff of the youth sector can count on the performances of Mr. Gabriele Cocumelli, flanked by the scouts Marco Sanfelici, Valerio Scardia and Luca Cortesi, looking for young talents in the whole peninsula.

The "Campionatiniñi" series

The Young Boys Brella participate in a youth league called Campionatiniñi. This league is divided into two groups, Campionatiniño A and Campionatiniño B, and is made up of a historical group of friends, whose teams range from South America to Oceania, with ties to Lithuania and Serbia.

The two series are made up of 4 teams each, and the new championships start immediately two days after the end of the previous one, so as to optimize matches and training.
