Atlantic Vikings was founded on the 11th of November 2003 by manager MOD-Jogvan. Originally the club was named Jogvansa Ítróttarfelag, but only one season later the name was changed to Atlantic Vikings. The Vikings play in the Faroese top series 1. Deild.
