Chiquesalunga United is a club that plays in league VI.462, the lowest division in the USA. Founded shortly after the beginning of global Season 36, it is now in its second season of competition.
The club is named after a region along the Susquehanna River in southeastern Pennsylvania that prior to European colonization the Lenape nation called "Chiquesalunga," meaning "place of the crayfish." Many present-day landmarks in the area bear names deriving from that term, including Chickies Rock, Chiques Creek, and the village of Salunga, among others. The club's home arena, The Cliff, is named after Chickies Rock.
In its opening season, Chiquesalunga United finished fourth in the league with a 7-6-1 record, and the club went 5-2 in the second half of its league schedule.
In addition to its league competitions, Chiquesalunga United maintains a full reserve squad, plays a friendly every week and is open to friendly challenges.
