Revenge has had 2 name changes in its storied existence. When the team was first created, it was called "Nakamura's Raiders" after Shunsuke Nakamura (Japanese footballer who played for Celtic and starred for the Japanese National Team). Then after a run of bad luck, the name was changed to "Mitsubishi Red Devils" - this was a take off of the "Mitsubishi Urawa Red Diamonds" and "Manchester United Red Devils"
Revenge have won their series 4 times - 2 titles in Division VI, and 2 titles in Division V. Their current series (V.52) is one of the more difficult series to promote out of due to the caliber of talent at the top of the table. At one point, any one of four teams could have legitimately taken the top spot. In the last season (Season 46), Revenge finished in 2nd place, but still above the auto-promotion line for promotion to Division IV.
Fan Club
The team's fan club is called The Devil's Horns. Currently there are 2,348 members.
