FC Barentin (often referred to as FCB or simply Barentin) was a French club managed by LA-Eldelbor, winner of the Championnat seven times, champion in Coupe de France season 24 and the first champion of Hattrick Masters played on February 2006.
The first Hattrick Masters, season 28, ended up with a victory of this French club, but after excessive spending for the Masters squad the team does not exist any more due to financial problems.

Victory in Hattrick Masters I

On Global Season 28, the club became the first ever to win the Hattrick Masters, winning 5-0 in final match.
The club bought so many divine-level players that a few weeks before the tournament it suffers a loss of over 50 million euros and then bankrupts during the tournament due to wages of over 8 million euros per week. Due to the over 500 000 € debt rule, Barentin has only 5 final logins and he uses them shortly before the tournament's semifinal to set lineups and say goodbye to fans in a press announcement written in French.
Since the club was unable to login after their Semifinal victory over Stiintza, it is believed that their 5-0 win in the final came without playing Match of the Season, a feat that shows the dominance of the club in the first edition of Hattrick Masters.

The final was played on 02-23-2006 at La Fortaleza Stadium, Ecuador. 80000 visitors saw a match, absolutelly dominated by the French team. The opponent, Skou United from Danmark, had no chance.
