Jacobs is one of the many successful players to come out of the youth academy of Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track. In contrary to many of his young colleagues, he was allowed to become a first team player in the main team, playing for the team for 7 seasons and appearing in 50 competitive matches before being sold to Chester F.C. where he has played ever since.
