The New Moon was a test country out of the hattrick world.
It existed for about 16 seasons until it was casually discoved by users.
Discovery
On 05/09/2008, Gaborss found a strange player messing with id codes. He immediately wrote about on Global (English) (Forum ID=11815021.1).
New Moon was removed shortly after the discovery. When New Moon was deleted, all the players were renamed "John Doe".
Purpose
The country had one experimental team which won the championship 6 seasons, probably managed by Hattrick Team.
Here is an example of a match played on the New Moon surface: Sinus Roris FC vs Mare Crisum Lunars.
An astonishing match with both sides get more than 1000 stars: Mare Frigoris Lunars vs Mare Tranquillitatis Lunatics (acmadaica revealed it, Forum ID=13471658.1).
