Óscar Fernández Somonte is a retired Spanish football player, last playing for Estrella de Madrid in Spain as a midfielder.
Fernández Somonte spent most of his career with Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track where he was signed as a youngster. In Belgium he played 59 matches in nearly 7 seasons, scoring 9 times in the process and growing out to a very skilled inner midfielder, before moving back to his home country where he has played ever since. Upon his retirement, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for both Estrella de Madrid as well as Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track.
