Šahin Ćupina is a retired Bosnian football player who last played for S.S. Longobarda85 in Italy as a goalkeeper.
Ćupina almost played his full career for Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track, staying with the team for about 17 seasons. Initially, Ćupina was signed as a substitute goalkeeper, being a backup for Ignat Barbălată (seasons 56-60) and Dory Ballout (season 60-63). From season 63 to 67, Ćupina regularly started as a field player, even scoring 11 goals in the process, while the two following seasons he was the first-choice goalkeeper ahead of Ballout. Eventually, despite being an immensely popular squad member and fan-favorite, Ćupina moved away from the club as he was demoted to the third goalkeeper. Fans started petitions to induct Ćupina into the Hall of Fame, which happened immediately upon his retirement.
