After the hard-fought promotion gained in the previous season and the strenghtening of VI.300 series due to the high level of new teams the club decided to batten down the hatches. During transfer market session the whole defense was redone with the goal of decreasing against goals and effectively contrasting opponent line-ups. The beginning of the season was very positive and Fantapazzo gained 7 points in the first 4 games. But it was above all in Coppa Italia where the biggest satisfactions came from. The Nerazzurri moved up to fourth round, where they were eliminated by a upper-category team. After the elimination season began to worsen. The team lost 5 games in a row, almost all determined by unlucky episodes. Fantapazzo found itself in the relegation zone, but above all thanks to Zena Rossoblu bottization (that made the Genoese team lose all its second round games by walkover) it managed to gain salvation, even pinching 5th place to RockyForever on last day. In this season the Nerazzurri used 3-5-2 many times, and at the end of the league it became the main formation along with 4-5-1.
