Transfers of Doverman, Lasimovicz and Bozzi in the previous seasons didn't prevent Fantapazzo from keeping on improving. After a transfer market in which only a young attacking midfielder, the first in the history of Fantapazzo, was bought, the team immediately proved to be one of the best in the league. With Frittole running toward a certain promotion, the Nerazzurri fought for the second spot against newly-promoted Monkey Island Scum and veteran Real Montedonzelli. Right thanks to a win over the Neapolitan team on the last day Fantapazzo managed to rank third, despite the transfer of Pedro Valdenebro, gaining its first podium in VI series. Instead in Coppa Italia things didn't go so well and Fantapazzo was eliminated in the first round for the second time in a row. At the end of the league the adventure as head coach of Paul King came to an end after a whopping 6 seasons. Instead the New Frontier project carried on and very slowly it began to have effect on team and club.
