The first edition of the Sealand–CHF Super Cup was played at the end of (Dutch) season 80. Als Hij Ons Maar Niet Fluit defeated E-Hollando to become the inaugural winner of the Sealand–CHF Super Cup.

History

The CHF-Cup, the friendly football competition of the Christelijke Hattrick Federatie, was organised again in season 80 after a twenty-season hiatus. The organisers of that trophy and the Sealand Cup agreed to organise a super cup between the winners of these two trophies.

The match was scheduled for the last weekend of the season, only a few days after the Sealand Cup final had been played. The CHF-Cup had been concluded a week earlier.

Qualified teams

The first Sealand–CHF Super Cup was played between the winners of CHF-Cup XLI and Sealand Cup LXII.

Venue

The Sealand–CHF Super Cup was played at a neutral venue, on a rotating basis selected by either Sealand or the CHF. A draw was used to determine which federation selected the host for this inaugural edition. The draw was won by Sealand.

SeaWeasel Arena, the home stadium of FC Jaapo, was selected as host for the first Sealand–CHF Super Cup. FC Jaapo was in (tied) second place for having played the most Sealand Cup finals (seven), only behind Als Hij Ons Maar Niet Fluit.
