Gijs Vliegen (in seasons 56 to 58 known as Thomas Bolsens) is a retired Belgian football player, last seen playing for napoleonskaya gvardiya in Ukraine as an inner midfielder.
Immediately after being raised in the youth academy of Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track, Gijs Vliegen was sold to Dnepr United in Ukraine without ever playing a match. He soon returned to his home country however where he really got his career going at A.S. Faltboys. In season 56, Vliegen faced an identity crisis and changed his name to Thomas Bolsens. He changed it back in season 58 however, when he moved to Torbacılar.
