Giulio Bergamaschi is a retired Italian football player, who spent almost all of his career with Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track in Belgium.
Bergamaschi grew up with a great love for Luxembourg. From his youth, he wanted to go there and live in the lush abandoned forests of the tiny country in Western Europe. Mistakenly, however, he booked a trip to the province of Luxembourg in Belgium. To save for a train ticket to Luxembourg itself, he was given a chance to play for Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track, who exploited him and kept him with the team for many many years at a small wage. It is unclear when and if he figured out he could just go there anytime he wanted, but he stayed at Lokomotiv Veltem for close to 20 seasons and became a club legend in the process before retiring at the age of 40.
