Decraene belongs to the club of six original players of Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track who signed up to play for the club when it was founded, but were deemed unwanted and released without ever playing an official match. Upon their release, he and his companions (Jean-Mathieu Brunet, Tom Burlet, Theodor Sonnemans, Thijs Thys and Jürgen Van Braekel) formed a bowling team and they've been meeting for a weekly game ever since.
