Match fixing in Việt Nam

After season 32, Việt Nam league was nearly completely banned due to a suspected fixed matches incident. Here is a list of main games involved.

Season 26

On the way to the V-League championship, TraT Tu Moi F.C was suspected to have match fixing for a few rounds including two obvious games against Sông Đà Online (302859348) and (302859349).

TraT Tu Moi F.C crowned the championship one round early. The final round was suspected as a match fixing between TraT Tu Moi F.C and SGCoop FC (302859372) to avoid the qualification round. Before round 14, SGCoop FC ranked #4 with 19 points (+2 goals), Paper Dragons was ranked #5 with 18 points (+12) and Sông Đà Online ranked #6 with 18 points (-9).

Season 27

Before the final round, Sông Đà Online ranked #6 and SGCoop FC ranked #7 with the same 14 points (-8). Sông Đà Online has the advantage on goals scored (23-31 vs. 16-24). The final round match between SGCoop FC and CSG_FC (318507467) was suspected as a match fixing not only to give SGCoop FC a win but also a large goal difference against the competitor Sông Đà Online. SGCoop FC thus avoid direct demotion and stayed in V-League for another season.

Season 29

The cup final round was suspected a match fixing between BenTreNoiLoan and CSG_FC (363221261) as CSG_FC have field a weak team relative to their previous cup and league matches.

Season 30

There were two matches suspected as fixing between SGCoop FC and CSG_FC (365121869), between SGCoop FC and Forex & Gold Trader (365121889). It is believed to give SGCoop FC advantage to compete in the championship. However, Sông Đà Online became the V-League champion with 1 more point.

Season 32

The final round match between CSG_FC and Forex & Gold Trader (395874856) was suspected as a match fixing to give Forex & Gold Trader an advantage to win the V-League championship. Previously, in round 12, the match between Forex & Gold Trader and SGCoop FC (395874850) was suspected for the same purpose.

Meanwhile, the match (395874852) also suspected as a match fixing between SGCoop FC and CSG_FC in the round 13. Earlier in the season, the match between MANBAYFC and SGCoop FC (395874825) also suspected.

Season 33

There were suspected two fixed matches involved Sông Đà Online against TDH1-K47 (411045381) and TraT Tu Moi F.C (411045387). Also, another suspected match is between SGCoop FC and Forex & Gold Trader (411045390).
